Monopoly Junior Game

This Monopoly Junior is a much simplified version of the original one. This game is best suited for ages 5 and up. It comes with 4 tokens which are small enough for their hands. The great thing about this game is that they are learning addition without even knowing. The $1 bills are easy to count and play with.

This is the first time my kids played with this kind of board game. I was skeptical at first in thinking that my 5 yr old would not like it but I was wrong. He loved buying and owning the lands. He was even more delighted when others would land on his properties and needed to "pay" him.

Overall Monopoly Junior game is one of the BEST game for #GameNight Voxbox!

I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

{DGDT} Buzzing By...

Hello everyone and TGIF!!!!!!! I have missed blogging a lot but I just don't have the energy to create anymore. My days are spent with my little ones since they are on summer holidays. Here is a quick one that I made for the Doodle Garden blog.

This sweet image is Little Beebee and she has been colored with prismacolored pencils and gamsol. I wanted to add some sparkle to her wings but completely forgot it. I have used my new beehive folder from Sizzix and made a border with my Martha punch. I popped up the yellow embossed layer and added a punched flower in the end.

Hope you like it. Remember you still have time to play in our monthly challenge, which is patriotic. You gotta be in it to win it! That's all for now. Enjoy your weekend and until next time,

Jennyfer

{ASDT} Tis The Season

Hello and Happy Thursday! It has been almost 2 weeks since I last posted here. Why? The kids are on holidays and all my energy is spent with them during the day. So not enough energy left for creating.... On the other hand, I have loved every single minute spent with them even though it's tiring by the end of the day. They are growing up so fast that sometimes I wish I could stop the time and just treasure them with lots of kisses and hugs :-)

Enough about this and back to work!!! Today is another bi-weekly challenge over at AudSentiments. Our theme is Christmas in July and our sponsor is QKR Stampede.

Come and play over and you can win some digis! Good luck!

{DGDT} I love Canada!!!

Hello and Happy Saturday! Welcome to a brand new challenge over at Doodle Garden this month. The theme is a patriotic one so let's show off our patriotic colors. Since I'm from Canada, this is my way to show off my patriotic colors and I made a spinning card.

 Here it is

I followed this video tutorial to make this. This little cutie is Three Cheers girl, which you can find here. She was colored with prismacolored pencils and gamsol. I tried to draw a maple leaf flag but failed to do it properly :-( Shame on me!!!

As you can see from this picture below, I used a 1 cent coin to make the girl spin. I cut the circles with the circle nesties (2 different sizes) and passed it through the chevron embossing folder. I added a piece of foam to the coin and made sure to lay it between the circles.

I hope you liked it and for more inspiration, visit my fellow teamies here

Hi, it's me again! I decided to try a layout but digitally...Why? Because I ran out of ink in my printer!!!

Here it is, my first layout and I created this using a free template from 2 Paws designs. These are my kids having way too much fun in the splash pad. Boy how I wished I could join them too...

{SPD} Ready, Set, Blow!

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday! We're already in the middle of the week! I wanted to play with my newly acquired stamps from Sugar Pea Designs aka Super Cute!

Here is my card

I used the Moroccan stencil and the orange from the Colorbox ink Cat's eyes to create my background. I was having BIG trouble to decide on the background papers since I ended coloring this cutie in another color palette. But I love what I did!

This cutie dragon is one of my faves from the Sugar Pea Designs collection! You can find him here. He was colored with prisma pencils and baby oil and fussy cut. He was popped on some swirled embossed paper (that I ran in my cuttlebug) and matted with chocolate cs.

Paper is from an old Cosmo Cricket pad (more than 2 years hehe) and here's a closeup. I shouldn't forget to mention that I was inspired to color using Mary's card. Love her coloring skills! Hiya Mary!

{SPD} Rain or Shine, You're a friend of mine

Hello, hello my friends! Happy Father's Day to all dads, grandpas, uncles out there and I do hope you have a fab weather to celebrate this! We surely do have some nice, sunny day and we've got some awesome plans ahead for our family. Yipppee!!!

I finally got a chance to sit down and color this cutie for the SPD sketch this time. This set is SO SO versatile too! It can be used for encouragement, sympathy cards etc.

She is colored with prisma pencils and gamsol. Her umbrella has been paper pieced and I added a sky background before mounting it on some kraft and red cs. The papers are from the MME pad. I made a banner and stamped the sentiment on it. I also fussy cut the frog and glued it partially onto the banner. He sure was a bit tricky to fussy cut but I think I nailed it hehe.

Here is a close up

Sugar Pea Designs stamps are SO SO cute and I love the quality of their stamps. I also love how the stamps take up the inks really well as compared to others. By the way, this is my own personal info since I'm not part of the SPD team. They're also having a 25% sale by the end of summer!!! So hurry up and stock up!

Hello again, this is for the Whimsie Doodles May monthly challenge which was to use an animal.

I have used the crab from the Shell A Bration set. A quick and simple card that I have cut with my spellbinders circle and my Cricut for the scallops circle, embossed the mat, colored the image and fussy cut. Used the ribbon for my sentiment and my dad loved eating crabs! I'm sure he would have loved this one lol.

{SB} Party!

Hello and TGIF!!! Yay!!! I really wish I had more time to play in with my favorite companies but sometimes, work takes over...

Here's my card for the one layer theme for Stampin Bella this week.

I NEVER did this before and I kinda like it! I first cut down a circle and glued it down on my base. Inked the background stamp and stamped on the base. I then removed the glued circle and stamped my image. She is Uptown Marcella goes to a Masquerade and she was colored with prisma pencils and baby oil. The stars and party stamps come from a Simon Says Stamp set. To finish the card, I doodled around the circle border.

{HB} Daddy's Little Girl

Hello friends! It's been almost a week since I last posted here. I was SO sick and my kids too that I couldn't craft at all. I can now put this behind me and I'm hoping to craft more soon. Here is my card that I was supposed to make for the DT Hobbybook Challenge. The theme is for dad or a male creation.

I colored Too Cute with my prisma and baby oil and fussy cut her. Guess I want a bit overboard with her eye shadows lol. Sentiment is my own handwriting.

Hope you will play and visit my fellow team mates for more inspiration.

He is colored with my trusty prisma pencils and gamsol. The banner was cut with my cricut using Princess Party cartridge. I also used my eyelet setter for the white diamond eyelets in the banner. {SPD} Hare's to you Dad

Hello, it's me again. This time it's to celebrate Father's Day that's coming around the corner fast! I was SO lucky I had won this amazing gift certificate from Sugar Pea Designs last month but little did I know that I would have SO much so much difficulty in choosing the stamp sets since they were all SO SO cute...Do you the pattern here ;-)

Here is my card

This cute papa bunny is comes from this darling set, One Hoppy Family. I just adore that it comes with the whole bunny family and the sentiments. I can think of many, many cards that can be done with this one single set.

The papa bunny was colored with prismacolors and baby oil and matted onto some chocolate cs. I went with a clean look here but still layered my mats. I just love this style where I didn't go with too many embellishments this time. Dps is from a single double-sided American Crafts paper.

I don't usually do the insides but this time, I just couldn't help myself in doing so.

My sketch comes from the Mojo Monday blog.
Hope you like it and seeyou next time.

You're a Star

Hello and Happy Thursday! Today is another challenge at AudSentiments and our theme is "Any sentiment for a Guy". My kids and I have been sick with a cold since Saturday and boy, it sure beats the creativity....

The funky rock star is Johnny Sing and I have colored it with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. The sparkly paper is from a Martha Stewart love paper pack and the yellow dotted one is from a We R Memory pack. The mat used a star embossing folder. This card can be used for a small boy or even for a dad.

My sketch comes from Sweet Sunday Sketch.

{HBDT} Hello Princess

Good morning and Happy Wednesday! We're in the middle of the week already! Where did the time go? Today brings out a new challenge over at Hobbybook where the theme is Use at least 3 flowers. Easy peasy right?

Here is my card

I colored Lyndseypop with my prisma colors and gamsol, popped her up onto some foam dots and stamped a sentiment from one of my unknown stamp sets. I cut the mat with my Cricut and embossed the background papers with my cuttlebug. Flowers are from Prisma, the center of the flower was done with a thread to make it look like it has a pistil and I also used my Martha Stewart punch for some vines.

Here is a close up

Hope you like it and visit my fellow teamies for more inspiration here
